Ingredients;

  • 2 cups İpek Extra Coarse Bulgur
  • 4 cups of hot water
  • 1 dry onion
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of chilli paste
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 4-5 green chillies
  • 1 water glass of boiled chickpeas
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of dried mint
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation;

Finely slice the peppers and roast them in a medium sized deep pot. Add finely sliced onion and continue roasting. When the peppers are roasted and the onions turn pink, add the pepper paste and tomato paste. Cut the tomatoes into cubes and add them to the pot with finely chopped garlic and continue roasting. After mixing all the ingredients well, add the bulgur and mix again. Add hot water, boiled chickpeas, salt and spices, close the lid of the pot and continue cooking over low heat. When the bulgur absorbs the water well, remove the pot from the stove, stir and leave it to rest. After about 10 minutes, your pilaf is ready to serve. Bon Appetit!
