Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of beef or lamb
  • 2.5 cups of İpek coarse bulgur
  • 1.5 teaspoons of tomato paste
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 finely chopped tomatoes
  • 2 finely chopped peppers
  • Half a tea glass of oil
  • 4 cups of hot water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Black pepper, chili pepper

Preparation:

Boil the meat and fry it in oil. Add the finely chopped onion and peppers and continue sautéing. Add 1.5 teaspoons of tomato paste, finely chopped tomatoes, and spices, then continue to sauté. Add 4 cups of hot water and bring it to a boil. Add 2.5 cups of İpek coarse bulgur and cook over low heat for about 25 minutes. After cooking, turn off the heat and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
