Ingredients:

  • 1 bowl of Extra Coarse Bulgur
  • 1 packet of margarine
  • 1 tea glass of oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • Flour (as much as needed)

For the syrup:

  • 3.5 cups sugar
  • 3.5 cups water
  • A few drops of lemon juice

Preparation:

First, make the syrup and let it cool. Then, mix the margarine softened at room temperature, oil, and eggs. Add the flour and baking powder and knead until you get a soft dough. Cut finger-sized pieces from the dough with a knife (you can adjust the size as you like). Coat them with the bulgur and place them on a baking tray. Bake in a 180-degree oven until lightly browned. Pour cold syrup and serve. Bon Appetit!
